Ah, "Repulsion", that must have been the one I was thinking of and mistook it for "Diabolique"! Thanks for clearing it up for me.

It's another film I haven't seen for many, many years, but I do recall it being worthwhile. Polanski is a reliably excellent director. And just looking at Deneuve is not a chore...such a magnificent face, and a pretty good actor in the bargain.

I watched "The Pirates! Band of Misfits" again. There are tons of openly funny moments, but also lots of subtle silly pieces that you can't catch the first time.

Am currently doing a re-watch of the Star Trek movies, and will have to redo Indiana Jones/ Back to the future at some point.

I think that's one of Adam Sandler's best movies. Of course, he generally doesn't set the bar very high...

I haven't seen it 100 times, but I would guess 10-15.

A mixed bag of a movie, never the less excellent. I was recently in Regensburg, one of the places Oscar Schlinder lived after the war. On a tour we were told by a guide an interesting bit of trivia- in the movie, the roll played by Ben Kingsley in real life was played by his wife who acted as a mentor on his Jewish decisions. I can't vouch for its accuracy.

I watched Battleship & Total Recall last night. Both were rather bad, but they were both mindless fun. I personally enjoyed Battleship more primarily because I love Navy war movies.

I know that sounds crazy, but he actually acts in this movie. Acts like an adult, and not some stupid retard like he does in every other movie.

Spoiler

Finally watched Dark Knight Rising. I loved the villain, I was impressed that BM got his butt kicked, but the movie was too long and got a bit tedious.

My understanding is that you have to load the movie into iTunes on your computer, then connect your iPad to your computer to load movies like these?

Watched L'Ecclise by Antonioni. In the train. Blasphemy?

Travelling while eyeing Monica Vitti (and Alain Delon) is quite jouyful I've to say. Anyone interested in beautiful vistas and stories of postwar Roma....

Yeah, with the Jaws digital copy, you redeem your code through the iTunes store and then load it onto your iPad.

I watched Katy Perry: Part of Me earlier. It was quite good, but I would only recommend it to Katy Perry fans. Enjoyed it tho but I am a fan anyway!
