iCloud
Just got a mini for Christmas and had a question about backups. When I set up I didn't set up from my iPhone backup. Don't want everything from phone on here. However do want some things to download to iPad. Is there a way I can set iCloud to merge some things and not others? Thanks

Nope, it's all or nothing. I'd suggest setting up your iPad the way you want it and then having your iPad have its own backup.
You could also restore from your iPhone's backup and then just remove what you don't want on there. |

For apps, plug your ipad into your computer and open up iTunes. Select your device and click the apps tab. Install whatever apps you wish.
You could also do this directly on the mini by opening the app store app and selecting the purchased tab. You can install any apps that you purchased. |

So I can get music on there by using iTunes? I really don't want to buy the music again
