I just got these emails about how my iCloud account is full, which is impossible because I have only used like 200 mb or so! The only thing I was doing was cleaning out my iCloud inbox and removing my sent messages!

Are you using it for iOS backups? You may have some on there that are taking up that space.

Also if you swap devices, the older device's backups stay on there. You may look through those and see if that sheds any light on your situation.

Have you hit the 'Manage' button? There it'll break down what's using the storage space.

Sync and Backup are two distinct things.

None the less.... The iphone can give you a good view of everything in your icloud.

On your iphone, go to Settings -> iCloud -> Storage & Backup -> Manage Storage. It will show you sizes of everything in your cloud, even from other devices.

I meant backup sorry. It has always backed up to my MacBook and on both my devices my icloud account shows about 4.7 gb free (which is correct)
