Pngwyn macrumors regular Join Date: Oct 2008	Does it matter when I buy Applecare? So I just bought a new iMac and opted not to get Applecare.. now I'm looking it over and it doesn't seem like such a bad deal. I'm just wondering if the 3 year coverage going to overlap the 1 year built in warranty (making it a 2 year warranty that I'm buying) or does the 3 year period only start after the original warranty is over?
