Mine are from the 1970's (via eBay), but I've seen new white ones around in oddball shops.
I have the white version (they are painted different colors on the inside). They can be found at Azardisplays.com or amazon. I think they could be painted on the outside, but I have never tried it.

Question for you, on your aeron chair, did upgrade the casters? Do you find it hard to roll around on your carpet? I have thick carpet and find it hard to "wheel around" and was thinking if I upgrade the caster it would help. 😕

I have not. I actually like the resistance it provides, makes it easier to pivot.

My setup 🙂

My First Mac

I posted this in the Mac Mini forum, but i really like looking at other peoples setups, so thought I'd put it here too. 😀

What monitor is that?

Nice setup.

Thanks! 🙂

The main monitor is an HP LP2475w that I've had for a few years on my PC. It's a good IPS screen, but there are probably better options for less money these days. The portrait screen is a Samsung BX2440.

Simple but working well.

27" iMac (late 2012)

- i7 @ 3,4Ghz
- 16Gb RAM DDR3 1600Mhz
- 3Tb Fusion Drive
- NVIDIA GTX 680MX w/ 2Gb of DDR5 memory

is tha a hp laser color printer? i saw it at staples for 129.

how do you like it?

Yes, it's the CP1025nw. I've been very happy with it. Excellent quality color laser prints. I was blown away with how well a printer that price prints photos on plain paper. As always, check out the price of the replacement toners and drums, that is where they get the money from you, and the toners that come with the printer are "starter" size.

Just for interest those of you who own the latest 2012 iMac what did upgrade from?

A crapy Dell PC from about 6 years ago. Running Vista and sounding like a helicopter. I can't remember all the specs but I know the HD was 320 GB as I replaced it when the old one failed. Also had a nasty 19" TFT panel I think.

Loving my new iMac. Its like upgrading from a horse to a Ferrari!

yeah, it seems the same with inkjets, though cheaper then toner, you replace them more often.

if i searched correctly, the toner are around 80-90 dollars plus taxes. do you find them lasting long?

i looked up more expensive laser colors. they have longer lasting toners but the price is more jacked up on them lol

Heres one more. Had a couple friends over last night and decided to get a picture of all our Apple Stuff together. Only two things missing is my iPod Hi-Fi and my Mac Mini PPC Everything in the center is mine. Laptops and phones on them are not.
