Well, I am as harmless as yesterday and wonder if I will ever see the light of a third day in one of these games...here's hoping and a change of vote since Jav finally showed up and for an other, obvious reason: Rodimus Prime who, like Jav actually, accidentally just pops up right in time when voted for...

Well, Don't Panic - quite justifiably - also used to wonder whether he would ever make a third day, given the predilection of almost everyone else to commit murder most foul upon his person.
'Harmless', eh? Or, 'mostly harmless'? Pray, a little more elucidation would be very welcome.

Well, Don't Panic - of all people - would well understand the distinction between 'harmless' and 'mostly harmless'........as discussed in 'The Hitch-hiker's Guide To The Galaxy' (one of my all time favourite books).
To business:
Twietee, it seems to me that for the second day in a row, you have landed in the sights of individuals who seek to set a lynching in motion.
I confess that the rapid appearance - in swift succession - of jav and Rodimus strikes me as somewhat interesting.
Right, let us see what unfolds if I bold the name of Rodimus Prime. Needless to say, I am, as ever, open to argument, evidence and persuasion.

Aaaaah. I see. Sorry about that, just the coincidence of both you and jav arriving at the same conclusion together struck me as a little too convenient.
Okay.......a switch of a vote from me is clearly in order.
Right then, let us revert to first principles........mrkramer for now, and will consider a tactical vote switch later if need be.
And, my old friend twietee, the word 'harmless' is not as convincing as it might be.
Oh, and clearly a redundant suggestion: But one might suggest that the hunter/guard do a bit of hunting and or guarding of Rodimus given recent revelations.....

Sorry, been a rather busy weekend for me. I have caught up now. Looks like I have missed a fair amount.
I am torn on the claims of RP, I don't have any reason not to believe him, but at the same its a good strategy to claim to be the seer if your a wolf. Most people will give you the benefit of a doubt, and the only person that can dispute your claim is the actual seer, who would have to reveal themselves, and thus be vulnerable.
That said Ill vote for Twietee to move it a tie again. DP would be proud.
edit: no longer a tie since SS changed her vote. Do we have a deadline?

Apparently, we have two deadlines. The first is reached if there is a consensus, in other words, if one person reaches a total of six votes, the earlier deadline ('consensus deadline') of 4 p.m. EST [December 30] kicks in (I'm on GMT, so not quite sure what the difference is; I'm assuming GMT -5, or is it, GMT -6?)
If a consensus has not been reached by then, a second deadline (if my understanding of our esteemed ravenvii is correct) next occurs, which is scheduled for 10 a.m. EST December 31.
Voting at present is, as follows:

Rodimus Prime: (2) mrkramer, Queen of Spades

As Koodauw has said, it is usual to give whoever claims to be the seer the benefit of the doubt. Yes, (for a WW) it can be a good - if risky - strategy, as it runs the risk of of the real seer also coming out (at risk to themselves) and negating that strategy. For now, I see no reason not to take Rodimus at his word.
Edit: Just spotted twietee's post changing his vote and edited mine to reflect that.

A consensus has been reached on twietee (who has more than half the votes necessary for a majority lock). The deadline is another 24 hours instead of 12 hours, so the deadline will be tomorrow at 4 PM EST. Unless a majority has been reached before then, of course.

Going all the way back to Intell since he always starts the voting-wagon for me without a satisfactory explanation - not that I heard of any 🙂D). And, out of curiosity, do we actually believe Rodimus? He and Jav came up all too sudden and well, still I'm not a wolf either, yet, you people still vote me off.

Not sure what you mean. I did change my vote off him, but the part "I was really hoping not to of had to tell everyone that." remains cryptic to me. We have no neigborhood watch or so, so he has to tell everyone or nobody, but yeah maybe I'm paranoid. 😀
His and Jav's rise all of a sudden, both voting for me without any reason, may have something to do with it...and benefit of the doubt still means it's nevertheless doubtfull. Just sayin' though. Is there a reason not to tell who he scanned, so we could have proof? Since we have no neighborhood watch he will never be able to PM his info anyway and work with a kind of hidden agenda, also, there is also a chance the hunter gets lynched this day and can't protect him this night. Just sayin' though.

Of course he was 'really hoping not to have to tell' that he is the Seer; far better for the seer to remain hidden for as long as possible. Once he has been outed, it is usually possible for the Guard to guard him once over the subsequent two nights, so it becomes a bluffing and guessing game. Do you protect him tonight and hope the WWs waste an attack? Do you protect someone else tonight, and hope the WWs think you have protected him, and won't attack him? Do you hope he'll live long enough to be protected tomorrow night? Again, re-read his posts.....
Edit: The woods are home to an utterly deafening silence from almost everyone else......come on, compadres, or else (apart from poor targetted twietee) I shall think that this holiday break (in the snow, dark silent sentinel trees listening with a disturbing intensity) means that I am obliged to hold a scintillating conversation with myself.........

I must say I am rather astonished that Rodimus voted for me as soon ask voted for Twitee. I knew that such quick successive voting would draw unwanted and unwarranted attention to us. Alas, such even did unfold.
I however, must appeal to you in the sense I verily did mention that my vote was nothing but a place holder. I did also state I didn't wish to start a bandwagon, for which I decided against voting for Rodimus initially. Although I think Twitee might feel my votes a nothing but vindictive, nay, that's wasn't it. For much as this Rodimus character must surely have seen thru me first as his initial scan due to his earlier remark. "He isn't smelling".
Although if he hasn't, I suspect I may be next target for either seeing or, if the wolves are smart and picked up on Rodimus, might try to infect me. I must add that I am not but a vaudevillian gentleman. I may be cast as villian by visitudes of fate. Yet my visage stays as that as of valiant villager who vows to vanquish those venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. (In other words the ones infected with the essence of the wolf).

Ok. Sorry for being lame: haven't understood that Rosebud thing by Welles, so why should I be able to do it in this thread. So, since my two prime suspects are nothing but two cool guys, my last hope lies within a quick bandwagon into some other direction (as in Intell for example 😀) to gather some more voting info or some other, unexpected actions...but alas, with the given paticipation pattern, that's highly unlikely. Seems like I won't make it to the next year.

I always thought that the 'Rosebud' reference was amazingly clever. It could mean so many things......such as
1) Just the sledge - Kane's childhood was so bereft of emotional support that on his deathbed, he muttered the name of the sledge he had as a child rather than that of any human being he knew or cared for....
or
2) It was a dramatic cul-de-sac - something that was not meant to lead anywhere else......
or
3) A satirical observation on the vacuous values of the media (and the society they serve) whereby a muttered word on a death bed is assumed to have cosmic importance (a lover? a lost sibling?), which it, in fact, doesn't have....
or
4) A very clever way of completing the (circle of the) narrative arc as 'Rosebud' is seen both early in the movie and also at the end....
As a device in drama, I have to say I thought it was brilliant, and it went - profoundly - against the US grain of spelling absolutely everything out or suggesting to the audience that everything that appeared on film was somehow of primary importance. Alas, that is not always the case.......
I was simply rivetted the first time I saw 'Citizen Kane'.........
Re the topic at hand.......where is everyone? I know it is Christmas, but, but, but, it would be nice to hear a few voices...........

Well I get back here tonight and see that Rodimus is claiming to be the seer. For now I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and change my vote. I'm leaning for twietee, but as I don't have much time to look at the posts and I'm also suspicious of QOS I'll change my vote to a No vote for now in case I get distracted and don't make it back in time, but I plan on changing it again to one of these two.

I think this post is what is going to convince me to vote for twietee it's quite obvious why the seer wouldn't want to come out since that makes him a target for ww attack, and possibly infection, can the seer be infected? I think so, but again it's been a while. I'm also suspicious of Queen of Spades since she jumped on to my random guess of Rodimus quite quickly which I could see as both her and twietee being wolves, but that's not enough for me to try to get her lynched yet.
I think the biggest question is if the wolves knowing that Rodimus is the seer have decided to infect him. So while I'm sure he didn't start the game as a wolf and is telling the truth about being the seer I don't think that clears him of suspicion in the near future since he'd be a primary infection target. Also another question, if the hunter was to protect him tonight and the wolves try to infect him does that make him immune to infection for the night?

There's nothing there, really. I was just going to vote for RP for essentially the same reason as you posted. I figured I'd just be honest and say as much, rather than try and drum up another dumb reason on day one. It was a day one hunch.
Take that as you will, but it's nothing more than that.
Looks like twietee is going to go? I'm not familiar with him or his play style at all, honestly.
I'm envious of those of you that seem sure about suspicions already. I don't have much at this point, so I'll stick to my Plutonius vote in light of RP's revelation.

I am and was actually quite aware of the fact that the Seer doesn't want to out himself that early in the game,I think this goes without saying. It was the way the post was written and, as I and also others mentioned numerous times before, the way he and Jav appeared....but now there is no reason to give Rodimus 'a benefit of the doubt' anymore, so I'm not sure you followed this game adequately, mrkramer 😉 - unless of. course you're already one step ahead of us and include the unholy possibility of him being infected by the time being.
