Photostream Missing

Hi,

So I recently had a problem with my phone so I made a GB appt to have it fixed after work. I wouldn't have time to get home and back it up onto iTunes, so I just did an iCloud backup.

Now, I wanted to save all of my pictures, so I just put them all into Photostream and sent the stream to myself, so that on my new phone I could just login to the same iCloud and get them there. I was told this was a perfectly find method for doing it.

I now have my new phone and that photostream is no where to be found. Any ideas?
