Dropped iPhone
I accidentally dropped my iPhone into a chest full of diamonds and now it is really scratched but not broken. How do I fix this for cheap? I can't afford a new phone and using it with all these scratches is not any good.

Have it replaced with your chest full of gold.

I just called them and they said it costs $150 without Apple Care +
That's basically the price of a new phone. What do I do? What if I put the iPhone in this - http://www.brookstone.com/cd-and-dvd...leaning-system I have used that before to fix DVD scratches and it worked alright. |

And DVDs are plastic. I highly doubt this would do anything other than further scratch your screen. |

That is the price. They are not trying to scare anyone. It only costs $199 as a new customer because the carrier paid a $450 subsidy in exchange for you signing a 2 year contract.

My sister owns a jewelry store and doesn't have "chests full of diamonds" that anything could fall into.

Are you forgetting about demand? iPhones are one of the most sought after products in the world.

Why do people do this? I mean is it fun to do this? Do they really have nothing better to do than do this? I guess I have nothing better to do than reply. lol.
Feeding Troll: You'd have to drop it pretty hard into your chest of diamonds I imagine for it to do a lot of damage... Having actually known a jeweler and seen his workshop, most diamonds are in small ziplock baggies secured away in locked drawers. Chest full of diamonds my ***. lol. |
