Video Trimming App!
Hey, Im in a rush, does anyone know of a simple FREE app that will allow me to load a video and type in a start and end time and it will cut the video to that time and export it?

"i" key sets in point "o" key sets out point. Export to (just about) whatever CODEC you fancy. www.squared5.com |

Quicktime, although you move a slider rather than set the time in and out.

I just use QuickTime - I think ve done a tutorial video on my youtube channel on how to do this also.

Another vote for the free QT X (or the commercial QT7 Pro.) (Also see my just-posted post at http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1520546 for more info on the latter.)
---------- You can. It's just that you can't freely select and copy a region of the video to a new one via sliders or I/O, unlike with the commercial QT7 Pro: all you have is trimming mode (via Edit > Trim...). It, however, works just fine and doesn't force you to recompress the saved region, unlike many other, even extremely expensive tools / video editors. |
