How do you get badges to show for Reminders?

Hi guys,

I've seen a few posts asking how to clear the badges from the Reminders app - but I can't get mine to show at all!

It's correctly set in the settings menu, but still no badges ever appear.

I have iPhone 5 in iOS6...

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

The reminders show badges when they have a date set and you're on that date.

Thanks for the reply. I have created a reminder due today at 9pm, but still no badge... anything else I need to do..?

Sorry, I should have been more specific. It only shows as a badge once it hits the due time. So yours will have a badge at 9pm.

Well the time came, and the reminder was in my Notification centre. But before I opened it I checked the icon, and no badge did I see

I opened the notification but didn't "clear" the reminder to see if that did it, but still no badge!

Is this a fault with the phone? Or still something I'm not doing quite right?

Weird. I tested it on mine a few times and worked fine.

Have you got the Badge App Icon switch turned on? Settings>notifications>reminders

Everytime i clear the reminder from notification center the badges appear.
