MOD NOTE:
This thread is teetering close to the political edge. Bring it back to the iPhone or it will likely either end up in PRSI or Wasteland. B

The iPod people is been asking for a FM radio since 2002. Apple has not yet relented. SIRI - like I said in another post, a Star Trek-like SIRI performance, normal human speech, pause, cough, accent, the computer understand them all. There is a very interesting tidbit where SIRI came from btw, is from this voice recognition expert who were forced to sell his technology to Nuance, then somehow Apple got hold of it. Google.

MOD NOTE: Aaaand we're in PRSI. If the thread is going to be about labor conditions you've got to do it here.

Not only do you not have people with experience building iPhones, you don't even have people with experience in an assembly line! No offense, but that's the natural outcome when you outsource everything. |

a build-your-own iPhone! That would negate the need for foxconn... Brilliant!

A better signal...so when I actually my phone to CALL someone (yes Apple, people still do this) so I can hear what they are saying. Maybe if they make the 6 twice as tall as the 5 they can get a bigger antenna inside that sucker.

2) Put a universal PCS/GSM/LTE radio+antenna in there that would work with any and every domestic U.S./Western Europe carrier at the drop of a SIM. 3) You can always put more storage in there as density and price improve. This doesn't matter to me so much, but, I know people who would put 500+ GB of music on their iPhone if they could. 4) You can always improve battery life incrementally by continually making software improvements that affect battery life. |

How about instituting some actual real-world product testing? Like, for real this time.
Because obviously they haven't. Overly sensitive body. Easily scratched, bent, and dented. Doesn't jive with a great # of routers in the world. Would have been great to iron that out before shipment. Stuff like this. You know, quality control. Work on that apple. |

Native gesture typing. Holy crap gesture typing. iOS has nothing on Android until this is implemented proper.

More than one form factor would be nice, love the iPhone think it's a really slick piece of tech, would actually probably buy one as my next phone.
Except i'm not going to buy one so long as they insist on the tiny screen. If they released a 5 inch "phablet" version along side their more compact version than I would grab and iPhone.

The black aluminum scratches like there is no tomorrow, especially the chamfered edge. I don't know why they always take one step forward (ditching the glass) and two steps backward (using anodized aluminum).

I would only go back to the iPhone if they made a wider screen.
