i cant remove these things at the back of my ipod touch. is this because of my silicon case from capdase? how do i remove this. i tried toothpaste, and other house cleaning agents. please help. i posted a picture so you all can see this.

Yup, that's just scuffed metal. Lint, dust, and dirt slowly work their way under the case and are then trapped against the body of the iPod, slowly rubbing away.

try a few seconds of phosphoric acid, should be available at ace or lowes

I would never put acid on my iPod. It's scuffs, don't worry, unless your trying to sell it..
