Still here.
I recently started working evenings, and now I can't seem to sleep in long enough to avoid being extremely tired by the end of my shift. I think I need a good window blind that will block out as much light as possible so I can trick my brain into thinking it's not "time to get up" so soon. I set my alarm for noon, but I've never slept in past 10am (I'm up now...)

I know nothing about blinds, and I don't want to buy something that doesn't work well. I don't have a budget, really. I'll pay more for a product if it seems like good quality.

Also, my bedroom window is wide. I measure the width of the frame to be 59.5".

Any recommendations?

If you do go with blinds go Levolor because they're premium in blinds.
They offer a day to night transformation blind/shade that may prove useful to you. Blackout curtains/drapes are great, you'll find those in hotels which are awesome.
