Anyone ever seen Phantom Memory Leaks in Instruments?

I don't know if I believe the Instruments program when it tells me I have
a memory leak. Check this question out I asked on StackOverflow:

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1...initely-called

Have you ever tried to debug a memory leak and found it was a phantom leak?

I'm no expert, just a guy trying to learn XCode 4.5, and the latest Objective-C and the preferred Automatic Reference Counting (ARC) compiler mode...
