My machine ordered 4th Dec, order lost and re-found on 14th, shipped today as per detail earlier;

Via UPS tracking (expeditors doesn't work for me for some reason), my machine is already in Koeln, Germany as of 01.07 this morning. Welcome to Europe little friend!

I ordered my 27" iMac with

3.4GHz i7
768GB SSD
8GB RAM (32GB Corsair Venegance CL10 @ Home since 3 Weeks...)
NVIDIA 680MX 2GB

on 30.11.2012 (Paying on 2.12.2012) and today, 3.1.2013 the Status change
to "Preparing for Shipment" !! (Delivers-Date: 03 Jan, 2013 - 09 Jan, 2013)

Yesterday , on the 10.1.2013 my new Baby arrived.
Unboxing , Connecting all Cables , Placed on the Table , Plug inn the Power and then:

NOTHING , DEAD !!!

No starting, no beep , absolutely no reaction .... Thats my new 3600.- € Trash on the Table.....

Ok , cool down and call Apple with the following reaction:

Sorry , no priority support , i must wait 3 - 4 weeks ,Date: 07 Feb, 2013 - 14 Feb, 2013 !!!!!! 10 Weeks from the order.....

Don´t ask what i thing about Apple now.....

That´s a good start in 2013.....

I have read in a german forum that a guy got higher priority for his reorder. He had stripes on the display. But the replacment iMac comes few days later.

Chris i would call Apple again and tell them its unacceptable to wait against 4 weeks.

ps: i've ordering exact the same machine.

Liverpool, where I live, is 600 miles away from Cologne! It'll be a long drive or someone in Germany/Holland will be enjoying my machine this weekend

mine is in bound to heathrow on the virgin atlantic VIR251 service land in about 1 hour by ekk they have had the peddle to the metal radar site has had them at 650 mph air bus 340

Can anyone help me why expeditors won't work for me, I input the 82 number on the Apple shipped order but can't see any details. Is there a lag when it first kicks in? Because my preparing to shipment notice right through to Shipped and then landing in Cologne happened very quickly. Not complaing because getting quite a bit of detail on the UPS tracking system but still, like to test a new system that's all

Mine landed at Heathrow on Wednesday evening and is currently sitting at home having been delivered today!

That's good news - mine appears to be still at Heathrow but has been cleared by customs - since yesterday. I thought Apple state you will receive an email 48 hours before delivery. Obviously I am hoping for earlier (Monday I guess) but did you get an email from Apple after it left Heathrow? Thanks.

sorry I cannot help I just bunged the 82xxxxx number in and got the details with the flight number bunged that into flight radar and watched it come home

Finally my iMac which was ordered on the 13th of December had been updated over night to Preparing for Shipment. Hopefully it will be dispatched in the coming hours.

Mine has shipped...Delivery January 18th....It didn't stay in preparing for shipment long....Less than 24 hours in fact. Now to finish up organising a way to fit 2 27" Imacs on my desk side by side.....I'm going to give MA a shot using Thunderbolt to make the transfer. Always did it manually before, but I'm happy to try it out....All my data is backed up anyway.

I hope you all start getting progress now
