Hey guys,

So, I use The Unarchiver from the App Store and everything works great. Thing is, since some time ago, the app appears twice on the 'Open With' menu. Whatever I choose it works but it's just getting into my nerves. Do you know what can I do to make one disappear?

I'm using Mountain Lion btw. And here's a screenshot.

Do what JediMeister suggested. Specifically, you can open Terminal (in Utilities) and enter (copy and paste) the following:

Code:
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Support/lsregister -kill -r -all s,l,u; killall Finder

No need to log out or restart.

It probably will. It seems like certain apps have jacked up install routines that cause this. Every time Unarchiver comes out with an update this happens to me. Same with Pixelmator.

Bah, that sucks. It's not that it does something bad to the OS but I just hate to see the same app listed twice.
