I would buy a 18in ipad but not a 24in.It would be home use only and the mini for travel.

Even if the 24in is going to be very light,it would still look and feel ridiculous holding something that big on my lap.

I read somewhere that there actually will be a 24" tablet coming out.

I think it was Android base os. its not a bad idea after all since laptop is on its way to being obselete. Huge screen tablet with external harddisk support should be available. Though, materials have to be ultra light and without bezels. Just plain screen with keyboard smart cover. Starting with 128GB of storage usd 800 base price for wifi only.

Don't know about Android, but several makers have announced 20-inch Windows 8 tablets.
