Calendar Server invites with Google?

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to figure out within ML Server if it's possible to use Google's Gmail servers for sending and receiving email invites. I have filled out all the proper information within Server regarding invites on GMail servers, but it just doesn't work.

I've scoured the net and I know I'm not alone in trying to figure this out. Has anybody given this a shot? I have a server that uses Server 10.8 that hosts my calendar but email is hosted externally with Google Apps.

I've posted a few articles of people having the same issues. I haven't found much advice on the matter and most that is out there assumes you are using Server as your mail host as well.
