Play 3D movies (mac > hdmi > samsung 3D TV)

Hi all,

I'm having trouble with this one:

I'd like to watch 3D movies on my Samsung ES8000 (3D) TV. I'm looking for a 3D player app but can't find any.. does anyone know one?

Also, i've heard TotalMedia Theatre (5) does perfect work, but it's windows only what will take up lots of GB's on my windows partition. Does anyone know a 3D player?

I am confused to why you can't play them? I have 3d films saved on my mac, i play them on my apple tv, hit the 3d button on my tv remote hey presto

I can play them from a usb flash drive also, not tried it direct from my mac

Likewise, I've several 3D videos (side-by-side format) in iTunes on my Mac, and play them via Home Sharing/ATV on my TV. I'm sure I've tried playing via HDMI as well and it worked fine; no need for any special player app.

The same here, just via iTunes or directly on the ATV (ATV connected to Onkyo to Samsung 7000 via HDMI) , no additional software needed

Ok.. So iTunes just can play it? A buddy of mine told me you need special software to play it (thought VLC doesn't play it aswell). Found out about 'Bino' a linux / mac app.

I'll have a try at iTunes. Thanks!

Best solution for me is downloading Plex App on your Samsung smarttv. It streams flawlessly from my Mac Air.

Streamed a 20 gb 3D movie from an external hd attached to AirPort Extreme and it did not buffer one time.
