How to make Safari stop using Acrobat for PDF preview?
I don't like how Safari uses Acrobat reader for PDF preview. It's too slow. How can I make it use the default viewer?

Go to /Library/Internet Plugins and create a folder called "Disabled" and drag the adobe PDF plugin there, restart safari and safari will use OS X's built in PDF plugin.

Still works in Mountain Lion
Just for anyone who ends up here via a web search: this still seems to work fine in Mountain Lion with Adobe Acrobat X.
