Can somebody recommend a good AVI converter, don't mind if its paid software?

I have a bunch of AVI video files I'd like to make DVD discs with in Toast Titanium turns out it doesn't even accept them unless they are mpg. Any suggestions.

Mac DVD Ripper Pro.

Been using this for a year now; very simple interface, great quality!

Handbrake is great and free. I don't think it is easy to use. you can find some nice free App to do that from Mac Store

I recommend 'Permute' available on the Mac App Store. Beautiful UI, supports many different file formats, drop dead simple, and integrates well with OS X (Even has notification center support!)
