when i try to install something, it always askes for a password

is it possible to bypass this?

It's possible, depending on which distro you're using, but you shouldn't do it. Any time you make changes to your system, you need to input your password. That's why Linux (and *nix systems in general, including OS X) are so much more secure than Windows.

All i'm trying to do is install Itunes to linux

Unless you are on the root account, it will ask for a password. This is an important security feature and you should never be on root for regular use.
