iMovie, why so slow to do everything?

2012Tony2012 macrumors 6502a Join Date: Dec 2012	iMovie, why so slow to do everything? Just got iLife '11 today and using iMovie '11, it took 14 minutes to import 5 x 30MB MP4 files (only 180MB in total), and then it took 50 minutes to export the merged video. WHY SO SLOW?
