Exporting from AE - file size reduction.
I need help bad.
I have green screened a teacher hand drumming. I am using the keylight plug in with AE. But the uncompressed file sizes out are huge. Is there a compromise on size? My workflow might be off too so I will explain and hope that I am doing it right. 1. Bring in footage into Premiere. 2. Make my edits. No transitions. 3. Edit audio clips round trip with audition. 4. Bring project into AE and key, color correct and drop in back ground. 5. Export to final file? If this is the best way of doing it, then I don't mind the final file size. Before, I was keying in AE then importing that footage into Premiere. Thoughts? Mac Pro 12 core 32gb ram

try this: take an empty pop can, place it on the floor, smash it flat, now try to pull it back to how it was. see how it looks like crap? that's called compression |
