Please help me. I have been trying to find how to fix my macbook. It will no longer charge. I ha e to have it plugged in all the time otherwise it shuts down immediately. It worked fine until very recently. I am hoping someone will have a solution. I have tried the P RAM and was as the SMC and neither worked. Someone, please help. :(

Hello,
What is your macbook model ?
First, you need to check if your battery is still recognize by your macbook.
Is your Macbook show you the charging level ?

My first thought is your battery is dead.....

Yeah, sounds like the battery - If the battery icon has a cross through it and says "Not Charging" then the battery is probably dead.
