Need DVD Burner Recommendation

Good Morning All,

I was wondering of someone can recommend an APP (MacBookPro) that will allow me to convert movies I have in AVI, MPG and other formats to DVD? When I was using Winblows I used something called Convertxtodvd and it was perfect. Just looking for something simple that will burn to a DVD -r format and play on the newer dvd players hooked up to the TV in the house.

Thanks so much for your input

There's Burn, which is free:

Roxio's Toast, which isn't:

This is also a free one, but I've not used it:

I used a paid one, 1DVD Pro. It can do some personal DVD burn. More easier than iDVD. And support most popular video formats.

I don't try blue ray, if you are using a blue ray disc you'd better contact them first.

There are so many professional tools to convert video to DVD, you can just google it... I'm using Wondershare DVD Creator for Mac, - Works well and is very easy to use , it can convert many video formats to DVD, but not freeware.
