itunes - play button

omg, how much longer? ...again after updating to 10.8, i find that each time i use the media buttons on the keyboard, that ... itunes pops up. now, i don't ever use it, can somebody please point me to a solution that actually works to either disconnect itunes from the keyboard media buttons, or, better even, get rid of itunes altogether.

tried, but i just cannot control myself, everytime i look at them i just have to press them....pressing them right now (clickclickclickclick..., ah feels so good)

yeah, i saw that one too... but figured there should be a more elegant solution... whatever, renamed iTunes now to iTrash_diediedie and it finally leaves me alone. thanks
