Plus there's a good chance it would be an aggravated public order offence (ie aggrecated by racial, religious, homosexual hatred etc) which makes it more serious. If they threatened immediate violence then it could be assault (again aggravated).

Huh? I was saying that most of the time when I hear "we are unique" it means "I don't want to hear about successes from other countries". I was not talking about you.

Well because you are telling people how to spend their money, so that's reducing their liberty

Civilization is not compatible with complete liberty. Rules and regulations enacted by the ruling body of elected officials reduces liberty in all cases.

While providing people the freedom to no longer be concerned about their healthcare expenses.

So that's increasing their liberty.

Looks like the two cancel each other out.

I would love to see the expression on everyone's faces in the after life as they realize all that they believed in was total BS.

Well I think the way to fix it is to actually make sure background checks are being done, work on improving our education and reducing gang violence, and working on our mental health system since the majority of our gun deaths come from suicides and accidents (which we don't consider).

Sorry. But that doesn't explain it.

Other western industrial countries have all of those AND fewer gun homicides and many have longer lifespans.

Try again.

i certainly agree that women's right are pretty clear cut, but I am sure that right to healthcare and gun control would seem just as 'clear cut' to the vast majority of the 'modern' world, and i doubt that most people would recognize that both sides have equally valid points.
