Why are the build numbers varying so much?

Here are a bunch more!

Build builds aren't supposed to be device specific, so what's going on here? In the past I recall only seeing a single build for iOS firmware (except for weird circumstances, like a dot release iOS 5 having a revised build)

EDIT:

Compilation of builds and devices, thus far:

iPhone 5 GSM: 10B143
iPhone 4 GSM: 10B144
iPhone 4S GSM: 10B142
iPad 2/3/4 WiFi: 10B141

I'll add these to the first post, maybe we can find out what they all are!

Is your iPhone CDMA or GSM?

I suppose it's a gsm. I'm in Italy and I think we only have gsm carriers.
By the way, shouldn't the 4S be a world phone with both technologies?

Peace

Okay yes then it's GSM.

The hardware of the 4S IS "world", in that there is only one device physically produced on the assembly line, but the cellular radios are programmed to be either CDMA or GSM before leaving the factory. The GSM portion can be used internationally, so it's kind of a gray area. Thus it's possible that there are separate builds for CDMA or GSM, but I highly doubt it.

Thank you I will add it to the lsit
