Is my iphone broken?

Hi. I'm using an iphone 4 now. And just now i dropped my phone accidentally.
The problem is when someone call me, i could not hear them but they can hear me.
But when i put it on speaker or i use the earphone, i can hear them. Please help me. Is my phone broken?

Pretty obvious that it is (as the speaker isn't working).

Okay. Thank you so much. But how much will it cost me if i send it to the store to help me repair?

I have the same problem with my iPhone4, too. I use an iPhone 5 now, but it was an annoying problem, and sometimes tapping on the back during a call helps.

Why not phone your local store and find out?!

As is standard here, people think that asking a question, waiting an hour for unreliable or unverifiable information, asking the question again, and then getting into a semantic argument is quicker than a 5 minute call to their carrier or device manufacturer.

An OoW replacement for the 4 is $149. If you can live with headphones then that might be your best bet.
