Connecting iPhone 5 to aux car input

first off my earbud jack fits tight into the iphone....i have 2 cables to connect the iphone to the car aux port and they ALL fight loose....even some other headphone jack cables i have are loose in the iphone...anyone else experience this issue?? is the jack for iphone slightly bigger?

Do you have a case on your phone? If so, it may be impeding the auxillary jack from fully plugging into the port on your phone. I had to buy a new Aux cable because the end of my old one was too wide to allow the plug to fully insert and lock into my phone.

There is a slight difference between jacks that are 2.1mm and 1/8". Which size are you using?

Nope. Where did you get these cables? Can you verify that they're actually 1/8" or 3.5mm?

Submini is actually 2.5mm.
