I've never owned a pair so don't know where to start?

Can anyone recommend a half decent pair of Bluetooth headphones for gym use? They don't have to have ground breaking sound, just a pair that won't fall off on a treadmill etc?

I bought a pair of the Jaybird Freedom Sprints and I love them. I originally purchased them solely for use at the gym, but I have been using them as my primary pair of headphones as well. They are touted as sweat proof and are supposed to stay put in your ear with their design. I can vouch and say they stay very secure and have never come lose in any variety of gym exercises.

have a look at Smart Sound Technology. They specialise in workout headphones with bluetooth. http://www.smartheadphones.com.au I might be biased but I love all their headphones. There's one specifically for gym, i think it might even be called gym or workout or something like that.

hope that helps!

after ripping my "yo buds" buds out (painful) on the treadmill I can say I need some of these. I was not prepared for their cost though, $130 is a lot of money for dedicated workout phones.

i got the lg tone 700. good wireless range (paired with ipod nano), good battery, good fit (won't fall out of your ears), and average audio quality. the less than phenomenal sound isn't a deal breaker by any means, especially when the primary use is for working out where there's a lot of background noise anyway. it doesn't look particularly great, but it does the job for less than $50.

Plus on on the LG. I have been using a pair of LG HBS-700 for over a year now. They are amazingly loud, decent quality music (good enough for gym use for sure), so comfortable you do not even know you have them on, durable (they have been dropped countless times) and the battery is just amazing. I use them for about 1 to 2 hours a day, an hour for my commute and another hour on gym days, every day and the battery will last about two weeks, sometimes more. The only time they come off is when I am laying on the flat bench and I sit up quickly, but if I tuck them in my shirt they are fine. On the bike or treadmill or any other exercise, they never move. Even doing squats I do not notice them on me.

For the money, they are just great.

so I seen 2 people talking about the LG Tones.. I wanted a pair of wireless for my wife for one of her birthday gifts.. She has started walking and working out and didn't want the wire..

We purchased the LG Tones+. The + is because they are the new model that just came out with improved sound and other features. I must say after having them for 3 days now I am going to go get me a pair now.. I was really wanting the Jaybirds but no way I want to spend that much money for something I only wear occasionally, but Best Buy has the Tones+ for $69 and price match with Amazon or any other major retailer, who as of this weekend has the Tones+ for $49.99..

We couldn't be happier.. I even paired it with my iPad mini as well so I can watch videos on it if I choose.. It supports 2 devices
