Combined audio in/out on macbook pro 17"

I have a macbook pro 17" late 2011 dual-booting windows 7.
My problem is that windows 7 doesn't seem to support a headset with an inline mic(in my case Razer electra).
My problem is the mic, now I could just use a splitter but I prefer finding a good solution.
What I probably need is some sort of driver.
So what I'm looking for is the driver but if there is no such thing I would be willing to help write one.
What would help is to find someone(or some community) interested in creating such a thing and/or has experience with similar situation.
