If it's a hardware issue then no a jailbreak should not be able to change that.

I assumed the Canadian carriers used the same standard as AT&T does in the states. Maybe that's just Bell.

It's a hardware issue. The LTE chipset in that phone can only receive the US/Canadian LTE frequencies.

You should not have any problems receiving UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+ 3G signals on any GSM carrier.

And can i get 4g on my mobile
And if i can , is upgrading from 3g to 4g worth it
I think that 4g is not the same as lte cause there is some people apper in the status bar 4g instead of lte

Technically, HSPA+ 3G is classified as 4G. It's not 4G LTE.

These speeds are all dependent on signal quality and user congestion on the towers. This is only a general guideline.

4G LTE: 20-60 Mbits down - 15-25 Mbits up
HSPA+ 3G/4G: 8-10 Mbits down - 2-3 Mbits up.
3G: 2-3 Mbits down - 1 Mbit up.

A lot of people worry about not getting LTE because they will miss out on high speeds but test your HSPA+ (DC-HSPA+ is even better) Speeds and see what your getting because In Canada I have tested 8-19Mbits on HSPA+ 3G (I rarely turn on LTE on my iPhone 5 because to me its not worth keeping it on due to limited LTE coverage)
