Free apps? glitch in the app store?

A few days ago, I read something about refunds in iTunes. I tried it out with a game and I got my money back, but I didn't remove the app. I did it twice; I got my money back in iTunes without deleting the apps.

Maybe this is some sort of glitch in iTunes? dunno, but I like it

Yes, its fraud. What you should have done was delete the apps and reported this to Apple.

When you download a new APP or update a existing app, your "Free" app will remove itself. You haven't re-connected with the App Store which is why its still there.

Yep. He probably downloads movies and music illegally too because they charge to much for it, so it should be free.

Whether you're stealing or not doesn't depend on getting caught. It's still theft.

I asked for a refund for a reason; the apps weren't working properly, so I might as well delete them. Does that make things right again?

And BTW, I'm not really stealing, I'm just taking advantage of a 'leak'. If you jailbreak you idevice, you do the same thing. And jailbreaking is legal.

Your initial post was all full of glee about getting refunded and still keeping the apps - twice. What do you expect readers to think?

I wouldn't call it stealing, since I paid for it

Basically, what shrink said, It's like a cashier giving you too much money, it's not really stealing, it's just not nice to do. Apple is one of the biggest companies in the world, worth billions of dollars, I don't think they would mind those few dollars, a cashier would, because a cashier would actually get in trouble for it
