High Ram Usage With No Applications Open on rMBP
Hi, I'm having an issue where the ram usage is extremely high for having no applications open on my 15 rmbp. Is it normal to have 4GB with no apps open?

I guess I'm not accustomed to this much ram usage. My previous machine with Lion consumed a lot less.

The only thing you need to watch for is page outs, which indicate you're maxing out your RAM. OS X will use whatever RAM is available... that's what it's there for.
