Best Buy will give you $50 off any phone you buy until the end of 2013. They did this last year and it's a really good promotion. (Got my iPhone 5 for $99, since they were already selling them for $149.) You just have to register your phone number this week.

Yes I do know that it's almost worth the $50 to not to set foot into a Best Buy.

Wow, that additional $50 off the $149 is a really good deal. I got the $50 on my iPhone 5 from Best Buy in early January and thought I was getting a steal

Late last year Best Buy was offering a straight $50 off iPhone 5's--no intermediate steps with gift cards. Still, not bad.

Surprising this isn't really being discussed that much. Seems like a pretty good offer, even/especially for those that might not be upgrading until later in the year and can "lock in" the discount.

No catch for the $50 bucks but I will never buy a newly released iphone model from BB because their preorder is a joke. I waited a month after release for the actual phone I ordered. Lucky for me I already had the phone before they fulfilled my order.

So If you are buying a previous release iphome great but dont expect the 5s on release day with BB preorders.

Too bad best buy does not keep a decent stock of phones. I went yesterday to enquire if they had any 64gig verizon iPhones in stock and our local stores had zero in stock and none to order from in fact they told me it was discontinued. Luckily one store is getting more but not for another week at least.

I would like to update that if you take part of this deal and are planning on getting using it for a iPhone 5 and are looking for a 64gig model the stores from now on are not going to stock that size it must be ordered in the store and shipped to the store according to the best buy mobile manager at my near by store.
