Folder access...
HI
I have a folder full of images stored on a portable hd connected to a MacBook. Is there anyway I can access this folder & it's images while I'm out & using my iphone :? |

Accessing files in your home from outside is a little complex.
There are solutions that help on this. They are quite affordable and most can overcome the absence of you having a fixed IP to your router. I would recommend you consider the above solutions, because the cost of storage space can become quite ovewhelming if your folder is "big"

The IP for my router never changes so I will look into something that way...

I'm not yet sure if I would want to pay for storage, but the folder size is 4gig & growing...
If I was to turn on share the folder on my mac is there no easy way of directly connecting to it & the shared folder :? |

Thank you very much. I've made up my mind that ill go with Dropbox. It seems the best option for my needs...
