rMBP power settings

Hey,

I'm new to mac so i guess this will be a stupid questions.

I have been looking for power settings in mac os x and found very little options. I basically want the following:

when on charger :
leave keyboard lighting always on at maximum brightness
display brightness at about 80%

when on battery :
set keyboard lighting to a minimum and set it dark when not used for x seconds (this option is prominent, but it seems the option is always the same, whether the battery is charging or not.
set display brightness to 50%.

i know i can change this manually every time i'm switching power source, but for a OS this handy, this option should be somewhere no?
So far i am VERY happy with my 15 inch macbook pro retina

There's no option to do what you want. The only options are in the Energy Saver section of System Preferences. They will, for example, automatically dim the display somewhat when on battery, but not to a user-specified percentage. The keyboard backlighting isn't a huge battery drain like the screen brightness is.
