Locked out of Facebook

I am unable to log on to Facebook no matter what browser I use.
I've had an account with them for 5 years.
Here's what I've done:
Cleared the cache and re-set Safari. (It worked at first but now I cannot log onto the site at all)
I've scanned for virus'
I've downloaded and run Macjanitor.

Does anyone have a idea of how to fix this issue?

Did you try another browser, user account (on your Mac) or even other computer?
What error message do you get when trying to log into FB?

What exactly do you mean by "unable"? As in, what happens when you try to log in on FaceBook? What stops you?

That's new... may be your ISP is having some issues?

It just does not go to the page...like it's stuck. I've tried three different browsers and get the same result. I've since heard of a lot of others who are experiencing the same issue. One person said she got in touch with them and they requested a color copy of her drivers license to make sure it was the right person. It's like FB is blocking what they think are 'fake accounts, I don't know but it's frustrating.

Sounds like a DNS issue. Change the DNS server you use.

After going through 2 weeks of not being able to log on; trying everything...I decided to send an email to facebook and the next morning we were able to log on. Not sure what the deal was but it must have been on their end.
