Which 7th gen iPod color?

Red is my favorite color so something like this is usually a no-brainer. But the blue iPod is also very attractive to me so I'll have to choose. I'm thinking red or blue.

For red, well, it's red and a particularly good shade too. On the negative side, it kinda looks like a Christmas ornament. Not that Christmas is bad in any way but will I want to look at it this way in July? Also, I really don't care for the Product Red thing engraved on the back. I mean, it's fine that a portion of the purchase is going to a good cause. But really, honestly, I just want the iPod and not feel like I'm being involved in some cause.

For Blue, as I said, it's quite striking and it reminds me of these aluminum looking cups we had with us while camping when I was a kid. These are very happy memories. On the other hand, blue is not red. LOL.

I dunno. What did you guys get? If you got the red, did you care that it had the extra stamping on the back? If you got blue are you still loving it?

Red my man, look how rich of a red they used this year. The blue isn't that great, in fact, it reminds me of the horrid 3rd generation nano colors..bleh.

Just my opinion.

Not a big fan of the white face on the iPods this year..some of them just look weird. The only ones I say look good this year are silver, red and slate.

So yea... the main reason why I want/need an iPod is so I don't have to keep hooking up/removing my iPhone in the car. The other reason is for the gym. Of course, that means I need to actually go to the gym. We'll see how good that works.
