If you are passionate about it, who cares if you make money?

If you only want to make money, then you aren't passionate about it

But seriously OP, your threads are ranking up there with Waloshin's haha

Honestly? Enthusiast is too hard to spell.

You domain doesn't need to have Mac or Apple in the title. You can name your site FoggyTuesdays and you'll be just as well off. It's the content that gets you up in the google ranks.

Not at all. I'd go with MacSquilly.com. You got your Mac in there and you get to brand yourself. Win-win.

Wow, that's cool, thanks for posting. I may have to try that for a new forum idea.

Don't be silly, that has nothing to do with Apple. SquillysOneMoreThing.com is much better. All the cool people online would refer to it as SOMT.

It reads, to me, as "mace enthusiast dot com," which I assume reflects your newfound love for medieval weaponry.

If I read it fast and without paying too much attention, it reads, "mace euthanasia dot com," which I can only assume is your low-tech approach to continuing Dr. Kavorkian's mission.

your reply highlights the fatal flaw in squilly's idea.........he said .net but you read .com

so let's move on to squilly's NEXT big idea........which you can comment on in the forum at squillysnextbigidea.com

Oh man, I was totally sloppy when I read that...but good point. He should probably buy both the .net and .com names anyway.

Oh, Squilly. If you don't know what "one more thing" has to do with Apple...

How are you passionate about apple if you have no idea what "one more thing" is in reference too?! That is the signature Steve Jobs Keynote saying

That is a signature advertisement slogan from the 90s.
"One more thing" is something else, and even has a Wiki entry.

Maybe read a bit about Apple and its history, Steve Jobs and Inside Apple could be a start.

And if you can stand TV movies, this is one you should watch.

And if you can handle YouTube, past Apple keynotes are kinda fun to watch, even in their abysmal quality.

And I am not even passionate about Apple, especially since Mac OS X 10.7 Lion.

Squilly, I've noticed you start a lot of threads. Perhaps arn would give you your own sub-forum to get some forum experience.
