App that mimics Siri?

I was told there was an app (for the 3G/4) that mimiced/enabled those phones to perform a Siri type action. Anyone know what it is?

Well... somewhat.

There are apps that will allow you to input text to speech for dictating emails, texts and doing web searches with voice input (Vlingo, Active Voice, Assistant, Voice Answer, just name a few), but AFAIK, there are none that will read aloud your incoming messages.

I think there's one called Google Now or Google Search something like that.

True - there is a Google search app and you can input your search terms via voice.

I am not sure if its still in the app market but there is an app called Evi that does the same thing as Siri. I paid 99 cents for it. Hope this helps. :-)

It's still there. It's free now, although it must have been a paid app previously.

thanks
