Dock Icon Seperator: To bunch together similar applications.

Open Terminal and copy/paste the following:

defaults write com.apple.dock persistent-apps-array-add'{tile-data={};tile-type="spacer-tile";}'

Need to refresh dock for the changes to apply. In Terminal type:

killall dock

Press 'Enter' or ' Return' and give it a moment.

Done!

I'm a rolling stone.

What does it actually do, not really understand what it does.

and I got this:

User:~ User$ defaults write com.apple.dock persistent-apps-array-add'{tile-data={};tile-type="spacer-tile";}'
2013-02-08 13:48:54.374 defaults[1789:10b] Could not parse: persistent-apps-array-add{tile-data={};tile-type="spacer-tile";}. Try single-quoting it.

Edit: Oh, and I did make a backup of dock plist, I would recommend others to do as well.

Is there a keyboard shortcut to opening the Bluetooth preferences/connection options (specifically a way to open up the little Bluetooth icon on the top/menu bar)? I've had to replace batteries in the mouse before and it didn't automatically connect after turning it back on. Keyboard automatically connects. For this reason, we carry a wired mouse with us and the iMacs in the field...,'just in case'.

Mine have always automatically connected (we've got three of them on different computers) however sometimes you need to wait a minute or two for it to happen. Patience!
