Man I miss my 30.

I got rid of it a few years ago for the 27". Wish apple would make a matte 27 and put the latest plugs in it.

Thanks guys! This is pretty much my dream setup and finally have been able to do it.

I really wish they sold these with new connections etc plus isight. I'd be all over them!

If anyone's interested I'm running them off a HD 5770 in a 2006 3.0Ghz Mac Pro with 13gb RAM. Still smokin' fast! Next upgrade will be an SSD.

You see:
• iMac 27" mid-2011, 2.7 i5, 16GB RAM, Samsung 830 128GB SSD boot disk and 1TB 7200RPM data disk. I built in the SSD myself

• MacBook 2008 Alu, 2.4 C2D, 8GB RAM, OCZ Vertex 2 and 320GB 5400RPM in optibay (made my own Fusion disk);
• Harman Kardon Soundsticks III speakers;
•Canon EOS450d with Canon 50mm fixed F1.8 lens.

• Mac mini 2009, 2.0 C2D, 8GB RAM, 120GB hard disk;
• A 2TB and a 1TB hard disk for media to the side, on top of mini a Seagate Backup Plus 500GB for pictures and backups of mini;
• An old but nice Philips TV on a movable VESA mount to direct it to the dining table at the left;
• Logitech Z4i for audio;
• To the right a part of a Philips dock for iPhone.

I know, last pic is messy.. I will do cable management there too as soon as I feel like it!

Not much has changed really over the past couple years. New stereo is all really that works with my iPhone and my ugly iPod Nano.

For some odd reason the boards wont allow me a second photo for my media rig with my first gen 160GB Apple TV still running like a champ. I love that thing! Especially with my sub and surround enabled.

In the photo, my 13" MBP, 27" ACD, 64GB iPad 2, and misc man cave items.
