iPhone 5 color buyer's remorse

wanted black had white 4s for a year decided to switch it up a little.. so bought black now want white.. kicking myself

Yes that's what you have. Not sure when the clock starts ticking - when Apple "shipped" your phone. I wouldn't wait until it gets that close to worry about the deadline. Go in once the madness subsides...

The white has similar quality issue.
My white 5 have tiny marks on the aluminum

I'm in the same situation! The white is just so stunning.
I got mine from my carrier so I don't think Apple will let me switch

I was the opposite, originally planned on buying black, while I was sitting in the queue I read about the problems of the black scuffing up its edges I decided to change to white.

I really am happy I did, the white looks more refined, just classier than the black.

I was also lucky enough to get one without any marks, scratches or rattles.

I'm a long time fan of black iphones, but in the Apple store the white 5's looked better than the black ones. The back of the black ones were covered in fingerprints and the sides being matte black just dont pop like they used to.

The new long narrow style would take some getting used too in either as well.

So jelly of you white owners... I love the black don't get me wrong but I can see the front being boring later in months like when I had my iphone 4 unlike the white 4S I had for a year last year.. Never bored of it..

So happy I went with the white. Had a black 4 and 4S.. It was time for a change and I couldn't be happier.

I had a black 3G, a black 3GS, black 4, white 4S and went back to black with the 5. I like the white, but something about the black/slate 5 is just really nice. Its a nice change anyway after having the white for 16 months..

I don't get this logic. Buy whichever one color you want, but if you're not buying white because it's not "masculine" enough, then you've got issues.

But white looks like a girls iPhone 5. It's like buying a lipstick red sports car. Fits better on girls.

Don't worry about it, life is too short to even care about this sort of crap. At the time I thought my 3GS was slick because it was black. Now it's a pretty much a turd. This stuff becuase obsolete so quick that it's just not worth the energy to worry about it.
