any solution to this yet? My battery is terrible after updating:(

I fixed mine.( Iphone 5 not 4 or 4S but it could work on yours)

After i tried 2 times restore of 6.1 and setup as new, the battery was still awful, but i tried something else ; I made " Erase all content and settings" and after that i have installed an old backup ... I don't know how or way, but the battery problem was solved .
I hope this can help others. ;)

My battery was fine until today. Today something weird happened. I had %39 left (iPhone5, 6.1) . I received a call from a friend. 15 seconds after I answered the phone suddenly the phone turned itself off. I tried to turn it back on but it did not. Instead it told me to connect to charge. I came home plugged it in and then it turned on. Then I took out the cable and now im using it normally i have %30 left.
Why do you think this happened ?
Anyone else experienced a similar situation ?
Outside it is minus 5 celsius. So a bit cold while I was on call.

For the ones with terrible battery life,

If you didn't try this before, do this and monitor your battery life (iOS 6.1),

1. Reset your settings (Any battery %)
2. Drain your battery until 0% (I mean, let it turn off by itself and wait about 30m~1hr off)
3. Recharge your phone until 100% (Until it appears the plugged in 100%)
4. Monitor your battery life

I hope it helps,

You will probably see some improvement,

Mine's gone back to 6.0 levels; currently 37%, 4h39 usage, 1d10h standby, i.e. I can go back to 2 day charge again.

The exchange remove and re-add helped, but it still wasn't right. The only thing I've done since is to reboot it after my home router wasn't playing ball connecting it..

They 'disappear' like that if you do a hard reset (hold home & power buttons until it switches off).

Oh, I've just learnt something new :) didn't know about that. Thanks.

----------

Do you think I could have a faulty battery looking at those stats or is it a iOS 6.1 issue!?

A lot better after 6.1.1 on my 4S.

2h 14m usage
8h 26m standby

with 78% left.

Anyone know why battery usage stats don't appear after jailbreaking?

Every time you respring your device you need to fully charge your phone. then you'll have your stats back.

It's doing ok now, before I was jail broken and it wouldn't show my usage. So last night I restored and now it's showing (haven't charged since last night!!!):
