AppleTV 5.2 update ruined sound

This new update made the quality of Airplay sound like garbage. Right before I updated, my bose surround sound sounded great when I was using airplay from my macbook or using itunes match on the actual appletv. Now theres barely any bass and it sounds weak. Any suggestions?

I just realized its anything playing on the AppleTV. Movies too. No bass.

And if you play the same content directly from your ATV what is the result than? I haven't notices any changes, it may be just a setting on your configuration perhaps.
