Preview 5.5.3 on OSX 10.7.5 stuck in a loop
GF was resizing photos (170+ at 4K) in preview, it slowed the competer considerably and I force quitted before it completed the job. That was a couple of days ago, today I opened preview and it is trying to open up all the photos. it gets so far and runs out of processing power, freezes, the screen grays out and the comp restarts at witch point preview opens and starts the loop again. i have to force quit to stop the loop.
unchecking 'restore windows when quitting...' in system preferences/general
deleting .plist files in ~/library/preferences
'defaults write com.apple.Preview NSQuitAlwaysKeepsWindows -bool false'
into terminal, i'm not really proficient with terminal but it tried
any thoughts appreciated
