iPhone swapping term

My iphone 4 is two years and 3 months old now. My homebutton is broken and half a year ago I visited the Apple Store and they told me that my phone was out of warranty so I would have to pay 130 eur and could get it swapped. Didn't do it then because I wanted to try first with my carrier but that didn't work out.

Does somebody now if there's a maximum period in when you can swap your phone like this? I planning to keep this one for some time and it would suit me best to get it replaced in a few months from now (going on a holiday where it is more prone to scratches/damages). Is this still possible then for the 130 eur?

Greets,
Jeffrey
